Electrical connection

Before connecting the appliance to the electricity

supply, make sure that:

 the voltage and frequency of the mains supply

corresponds to the values indicated on the rating

plate;

 the earthing system is efficient;

 the supply cable is fitted with a normalised plug

suitable for the rated current. At the time of

installation an efficient double-pole cut-off device

having a contact separation of at least 3 mm in

both poles should also be fitted upstream of the

appliance. The double-pole linked switch should

be near the appliance and readily accessible.

 the wires in the mains lead are coloured in

accordance with the following code:

Green & Yellow - Earth

Blue - Neutral

Brown - Live

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead may

not correspond with the coloured markings

identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as

follows:

Connect the Green & Yellow wire to terminal

marked E or

or coloured Green or Green &

Yellow.

Connect the Brown wire to the terminal marked L

or coloured Red.

Connect the Blue wire to the terminal marked N

or coloured Black.

 If the supply cable needs replacing, use a cable

of the type HO5RR with a cross section of 3x1

mm² in compliance with regulations in force.
