INTERPRETING INTERVALS

Introduction

During each interval the timer switches are opened or closed to energize the various components

used in the different events. During each interval, one or more events may take place. it is important

to look at the entire interval, as switch positions may change during the interval. One of the most

difficult intervals to interpret is when a thermohold takes place. To understand what happens during a

thermohold, divide the interval into three parts and look at the wiring diagram at the beginning, middle,

and end of the interval.
