w ate r r un to make sure that the w ater is clear. Th is pre caution is need ed to avoid the

r isk o f the wate r in let to be blocked and d amage the a pplian ce .

Th e wa ter s uppl y to the applianc e ca n a lso b e co nnec ted to t he ho use hold hot water

line (su ch a s, c entral sy stem, heatin g sy stem),as lon g as it does no t e xceed a

temper ature of 60 C. In this case , th e w ash c ycle time w ill be shor tene d by abo ut 1 5

minute sand the wash efficiency slightly reduced.

Th e co nnec tion must be m ade to t he hot wate r lin e fo llowi ng t he s ame proce dures as

described i nthe section for the connection to the cold water line.

Insert the dra in h ose i nto a dra in pi pe w ith a minimu m di amet er o f 4 c m, o r let it run i nto the sink, ma king sur e to

avoid bending or crimping. Use the special plastic support that comes with the appliance. The free end of the hose

must be a t a h eigh t be tween 40 and 100 cm and mus t not be i mme rsed i n w ater.

Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor can result in the risk of an electric shock.
